  • How should I address my incoming orders when having then shipped to Deluxe Freight? +

    When ordering items, please instruct your suppliers/vendors to ship your cargo as follows:

  • What happens once you receive my cargo at your facility? +

    Upon your cargos arrival at our facility, one of our dedicated traffic agents will notify you via email that the items are on hand.
  • Once I place an order with a vendor/supplier, what’s required from me? +

    When placing your orders, please forward us copies of the corresponding invoices as they will be required by Customs at destination. To facilitate our internal process and ensure nothing slips through the cracks, we request you please provide us a list of all the orders you are placing along with the tracking numbers so our agents are aware of what’s incoming for you.
  • What happens once you receive my cargo at your facility? +

    Upon your cargos arrival at our facility, one of our dedicated traffic agents will notify you via email that the items are on hand.
  • Do you ship when my cargo arrives? +

    Once we have all the items you’re expecting, we await your instructions to go ahead and consolidate them (which is ALWAYS the most-cost efficient manner in which to ship) and place them on the very next sailing out. We never ship your cargo unless you instruct us to do so.
  • What do I need to do to set up an account with Deluxe Freight? +

    All that’s needed to ship with Deluxe Freight are the forms required by Customs. In our Forms section , please open the folder titled “New Customer”.

    In this folder you will find any and all forms required to ship cargo to Cayman.
  • How often do you ship to Cayman? +

    Weekly we have 2 consolidated sailings (Tuesdays and Thursdays) that make us a very convenient shipping partner.
  • How long does it take for my cargo to arrive in Cayman after it leaves South Florida? +

    Typical sailing time is approximately 48 hours. Tuesday sailings usually arrive on Thursday evening and begin the clearing process with customs on Friday. Thursday sailings usually arrive on Sunday evening and begin the clearing process with customs on Monday.
  • For how long can Deluxe Freight hold my cargo? +

    We offer 30 days of FREE STORAGE. After the 31st day of having cargo in our facility, a daily storage fee will be assessed based on the cubic footage of what’s on hand.
  • What are the cut-off times for my cargo? +

    Our cut off time for Tuesdays sailing is Friday at 5pm (both cargo and documentation) and our cut off time for Thursdays sailing is Tuesday at 5pm (both cargo and documentation).
  • Why do I have to have my cargo at Deluxe Freight two days before the vessel actually leaves? +

    Reason for this is because our consolidated containers are sent to the port one day prior to the sail date. In turn our Tuesday containers/consolidations are picked up from Deluxe Freight on Monday morning and our Thursday containers/consolidations are picked up from Deluxe Freight on Wednesday morning.
  • Are you open on weekends? +

    Deluxe Freights operating hours are Monday – Friday / 8:30am to 4:30pm.
  • What happens when my cargo arrives in Cayman? +

    When your goods arrive in Cayman, you will be notified by CICA (Cayman Islands Customs Agency) that your cargo is ready; at that time you can either coordinate a pickup or schedule a time of your preference for them to make a delivery.
  • How do I know what it will cost to ship my cargo? +

    We base the charges for your shipment on cubic footage. In order for an estimate to be generated all we would need is the dimensions (length / width / height) and the value (for insurance purposes).
  • How does the process work when shipping with Deluxe Freight? +

    As for how the process works, it’s actually quite simple. Our customers usually place their orders with their suppliers/vendors and ship them to us. Upon arrival, we receive your items and consolidate them for you.
  • Do you have a service for small items? +

    Deluxe Freight has a service for cargo under 12 cubic feet. Our Small Cargo Shipping Service is like no other and is tailored for our clientele that need to ship small packages.
  • How do I go about paying Deluxe Freight? +

    All of our charges are collected from you via CICA so there’s no need for you to worry about paying for your cargo until it arrives on island.
  • Does Deluxe Freight ship automobiles? +
